When running stairs just take the first step.

If the second step is a high step see it as a transition to the next step.

If the step is a low step, then you can just take this as a step onto the next stair. On that first step, you need to choose whether you are going upward, left, or right. A step can be completed using one foot and one stair but you need to put the other foot down and step in one at a time and do not count. There is a large transition between the first and the second stair.

👣 🐐 😉

In the transition, you step in, then reach the left hand side and turn left. Go back to the start. Then you step in, then reach the right hand side and turn right. Go back to the start. In this stairway, if you step in, turn right to the right hand side and you are going up to the next step, so you can just take this as a step onto the next stair. If you step into the stairs in the center, you are on the left, so you reach the right hand side and turn left. The transition is not in the center, so you go back to the original way and turn left. Go back to the start.

step in

This is where you step in, then turn right to the right hand side, before turning left to the left hand side. Go back to the start. This is where you step in and then turn right, then you reach down and touch the left hand side of the step, which is a transition to the next stairway.
